I Repent

My heart beats
Faster than the tick tock of time
Soul burns
Fiercer than the flames of hell

Now,you whimper
For your rage,I stirred
The tail of your snake, I stamped
Your back,I stabbed

But hear my plea
With the swiftness of a mother
When the tears of her son
runs like the mystic ocean

Return home
My Israel
And give me the joy of Zion
In your love, I shall rest

Let your eyes rest on mine
To see the repentant tears of the prodigal
Swirl your ears from the radio
And hear the pains of my heart

I repent
Hear my plea
With your smile
My soul is saved

Poem from my Jotter. Written in 2015
